Bake Pops Review | Pop ‘Em, Dip ‘Em, Decorate ‘Em, & Devour ‘Em!

Hello, my name is Rachel and I decided to write a Bake Pops Review site because I was getting so many people asking me about my Bake Pops that I was getting tired of repeating myself over and over again. I now just tell others how much I love my Bake Pops, how easy they are to make and decorate, and then direct them to this Bake Pops Review site.

I can’t tell people enough how much I love Bake Pops! I think what I love most about them is that the possibilities are literally endless, not to mention how easy they are to make. I have been making Bake Pops for a long time and I have never made the same Bake Pops twice. Before I get into a few of the many possibilities you can do with Bake Pops, let’s start with how it all works.

What Your Bake Pops Kit Includes:

  • Bake Pops Pan (which makes 18 Bake Pops)
  • 18 Wraps and Ties
  • 18 Reusable Bake Pops Sticks
  • 1 Squeeze Bottle
  • 1 Decorating Idea Book

How to Make Bake Pops:

You won’t believe how simple it is to make Bake Pops! All you need to do is whip up your favorite cake mix, pour the cake batter into the Bake Pops Pan, place the Bake Pops Pan Mold on top, and place it in the oven. When it’s done cooking insert a Bake Pops Stick into each Bake Pops and pull them out of the pan. You can decorate immediately or save them for later. The Bake Pops can be refrigerated or even frozen for later use. It really can’t get any easier than that!

Bake Pops Possibilities:

This is the fun part! The sky is the limit so have fun with it. I love making Bake Pops with my kids because it allows us to spend quality time together and we get to see each others creativeness. I have made Bake Pops for practically all the holidays (Valentine’s Day, St. Patrick’s Day, Fourth of July, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, etc). I put a couple in my kid’s lunches for school, make them for class parties, baby showers, wedding showers, weddings, book club, goodies for during/after sports games, dinner parties, potlucks, birthday parties, gifts, work parties … as you can see I have made them for about event you can think of.

Besides the different ways and events/holidays you can make Bake Pops for there are also different types of Bake Pops you can make as well. You don’t have to always use cake mixes. If that was the case they would probably be called Cake Pops. I have used brownie mixes and cookie dough (believe it or not). Using brownie mixes or cookie dough only adds to the possibilities. Are you starting to realize how much fun you and your kids can have with these?

When I bought my first Bake Pops Kit I only received what I listed above – 1 set of everything. I have bought an additional set since then to make baking and making them so much quicker and easier. But I recently discovered that they are running a special promotion – Buy One Get One FREE with FREE Shipping for only $19.99! I paid that much for one set and had to pay for shipping. I just bought two more (giving me four kits total) so I can add to my collection as well as give a few away for gifts. Don’t miss out on this promotion before it ends. You will be baking, decorating, and having fun in no time! Plus, it’ll be the hit at every event or holiday you bring them to.

Bake Pops Pan | Questions & Answers

Hello again! I just received my recent double order (four sets) of Bake Pops kits in the mail that I mentioned I ordered in my previous Bake Pops Review post above (I couldn’t resist the buy one get one for free special offer that they have running). I have also been receiving a lot of questions about the Bake Pops Pan so I thought it would be a perfect time to write a post about Bake Pops Pan.

The most frequent question that I have been asked is,”What type of pan is the Bake Pop Pan?” I couldn’t find a description on the Official Bake Pops Website, but from my baking experience the pan seems no different than any other non-stick Teflon pan. The Bake Pops pan is designed to be a non-stick pan so it is easier to remove the Bake Pops from the pan. In all the Bake Pops that I have made I have never had any Bake Pops stick to the pan and/or get ripped in half when trying to get them out. They have always come out as perfect little Bake Pops. You have no need to worry about having failed or wasted Bake Pops.

The next question that is pretty popular is, “Can the Bake Pops Pan be used for other things besides Cake Pops?” YES! I mentioned a few other things that I have used my Bake Pops pan for in my previous Bake Pops Review post (cookies and brownies). I have recently used my Bake Pops pan to make a couple of new things that I’ve never made before. The treat that I will share in this post are perfect for summer treats or just to keep in the freezer for a quick pop of deliciousness.

I made chocolate covered ice cream pops for an ice cream social with my church. Ice cream pops might sound a little complicated, but it is actually really easy because of the Bake Pops pan. I don’t think I could do it without it. All you do is get your favorite ice cream and scoop it into two Bake Pops pans. Make sure you run something across the pan once you’ve put the ice cream in so it is completely flat. The next part is tricky; you need to quickly flip one of the pans over and place it on top of the other Bake Pops pan. The slightly melted ice cream will freeze together creating a solid ice cream pop. Place the pan in the freezer for about an hour.

When an hour is about up I begin to melt chocolate; this can be done either on the stove or in the microwave. You need to get everything set up before you start dipping the ice cream pops in the chocolate because each one will immediately need to go back into the freezer once it is dipped (I like to place an empty Bake Pops pan in the freezer to make the transfer easy). Once the chocolate is melted pull out the Bake Pops pan and remove the top pan. You can use one of the sticks that come in the kit or a fork will do just fine too. Take the ice cream pop out of the Bake Pop pan, dip it into the melted chocolate, and then place it in the Bake Pops pan that’s already in the freezer. There is no need to put a Bake Pops pan on top as the ice cream balls are already formed. The chocolate will harden quickly once in the freezer. Once the chocolate and ice cream have hardened you can remove them and decorate them, if you wish. I put them in compact container to save freezer space. They were a hit at the ice cream social – nobody had anything like it. And I love having extras on hand for a quick goodie after dinner or as rewards for my kids.

Stay tuned for my next Bake Pops Pan post about the other new creation I recently made. If you haven’t ordered your own set of Bake Pops yet the Buy One Get One FREE special offer is still running. Hurry and get your so you can start creating your own Bake Pops!
